For more than 30 years, our family has been welcoming guests from all over the world to beautiful Žuljana. Today, Dalmatia Paradise is lovingly run by two sisters, Maja and Tanja, together with our four-legged hostess, Fig, who is always happy to welcome new friends.

Surrounded by fragrant pine forests, vineyards, and gentle hills, the picturesque village of Žuljana is home to around 300 residents. Located on the beautiful Pelješac Peninsula, it is a peaceful destination where life still follows a slower pace, shaped by fishing, winemaking, and olive oil production.

Nestled among pine trees, our house overlooks the bay while being just a five-minute walk from the beach. Each apartment features a private terrace with stunning panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea—the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

One of Žuljana's most distinctive features is its west-facing bay, offering breathtaking sunsets almost every evening. As the sun slowly sinks into the sea, the sky transforms into shades of gold, orange, and crimson—an unforgettable sight you'll remember long after your holiday.

Beaches and Activities

Žuljana is known for its beautiful sandy and pebble beaches with crystal-clear, shallow waters, making them ideal for families with children as well as anyone looking for a relaxing seaside escape.

Whether you enjoy swimming, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, or fishing, you'll find plenty of ways to experience the Adriatic. The area's rich underwater world, including shipwrecks and coral reefs, makes diving particularly rewarding. Three local diving centres offer equipment rental, diving courses, and guided excursions suitable for both beginners and experienced divers.

Nature lovers will also enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside. Numerous walking and hiking trails wind through unspoiled landscapes filled with Mediterranean herbs, leading to spectacular viewpoints such as the summit of St. Ivan (490 m), where breathtaking panoramic views await.

The village offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. You'll find a grocery store, market stalls with fresh local produce, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, olive oil, honey, and excellent local wines. There are also four restaurants, a pizzeria, and a café where you can enjoy authentic Dalmatian cuisine.

Žuljana is the perfect base for exploring some of Croatia's most beautiful destinations.

The UNESCO World Heritage city of Dubrovnik, often called the "Pearl of the Adriatic," is just an hour's drive away. Along the way, you can visit the historic Trsteno Arboretum, a magnificent botanical garden dating back more than 500 years.

Mljet National Park, famous for its stunning saltwater lakes and untouched nature, can be reached by local boat in approximately 40 minutes, while the historic island of Korčula is only about an hour away.
